In reply to the discussion: Chris Cuomo: It's not unfair to point out Fetterman's speech difficulties [View all]Just A Box Of Rain
(5,104 posts)34. I agree with you on all the substantive points you have made here.
And think you've done a better job that Lawrence O'Donnell advancing the right message.
We have seen leaders, including FDR, Churchill, and JFK who have overcome illness and disabilities. All three of these people are person heros of mine.
The idea that Fetterman can overcome his challenges also resonates with me.
I hope people are of magnanimous mindsets and have expressed optimism that most Americans have had their own struggles or witnessed the grit of loved ones or family members and that ought to make Fetterman relatable.
Fetterman has been transparent. That's the right path IMO.
I'm wishing him the best, both electorially and with his ongoing recovery

Reading the comments, but not watching, I think this says more about Cuomo than Fetterman

I don't think it is unfair, but I think Cuomo's take exemplifies the shallowness of the media.

My opinion is whoever is managing Fetterman's campaign should have not let him do the debate
