3. I disagree. I was a Dem observer and the Rep observer and I had to work together.

It was the ONLY way either of us could do our jobs because the check-in people weren't bothering to say the names loud enough for us to hear them. We had to help each other with the cross-off sheets and ask to see the log book during lulls - "Not on my list, check yours." Sure, we completely disagreed with each other politically, but we both had a civic duty to perform and it required cooperation. If only Congress could figure that out.
