Submitted our passport applications last week.
We are 80 and 78. She taught high school for 35 years and has a long record of volunteering. I soldiered for 28 yeas, two tours in Vietnam; long-time paramedic and captain of rural volunteer rescue squad; member of county electoral board; lots of community volunteering.
I have paternal and maternal Swiss lineage and the Swiss consulate says we can become "long-term residents" with no problem. If Republicans win tomorrow, we are out of here. Sell the house, everything except a few family heirlooms goes to thrift shop or dump.
