9. He's probably threatening to go 3rd party like he did after Jan 6 to get RNC etc in line behind him

RNC caved before after Jan 6th to his extortion threats, even agreeing to pay his legal bills to keep him from starting his own party. RNC has said they will no longer pay his legal bills if he announces run. My guess is he thinks he can get Repubs to cave again and pledge to support him for re-election rather than DeSantis and keep paying his bills or else he wreaks havoc on the party.
