I used to work for one of the component development companies who partner with Microsoft. All those cool screens you see when Chuck Todd is making projections is an outcome of the work that Microsoft does with such companies. It then allows those companies to showcase what can be done with the products that they develop based on Microsoft technologies. And on the other hand, it allows the networks to feature some cool infographics.
