14. The Texas Syndrome. I think it is raging in Tennessee too

I saw on the KY map that Frankfort and Lexington have been separated into two different districts. Damn shame. If both were in the same district, KY would have another Dem in Congress.

It was so bad here that there were many elections where the downballot only had Republican candidates. This has changed a LOT in the past 12 years, but we still have a lot of work to do.

We still don't have the turnout of Democrats that we should have, but it has improved. The way to start making it better is to hit the ground running on the local elections. This is how the Republicans did it. City Councils, school boards, county commissioners, JPs etc.

forgive me if I have already asked this but what part of KY? I am from Western KY 40 miles south of Bowling Green.
