I thought they didn't do that until the polls were closed across the state.

I guess the Eastern Time which is Louisville and the big news just broke it before the West could vote.

That is one thing we don't do here. We have El Paso county and one more that are on Mountain time. When our numbers first go up, if they do go up before the polls close out there, it will just be the votes counted here (early and mail in votes at first) It is usually at least an hour or more before the Election Day votes start posting. We do not see the rest of the state until after El Paso is done.
