13. I believe DeSantis is also to blame for the results of this election outside of Florida.

Voters in other states correctly saw DeSantis' Florida as that "fucknut island...unvaxxed and uneducated" where the most extreme MAGA absurdities have taken root and are flourishing. I suspect most voters outside of Florida considered DeSantis' authoritarian rightwing rule as a national cautionary tale, something to be avoided at all costs.
