and the cult followers are exactly where they want to be happy in their "freedom" and don't want to leave.

Who would buy a house there? What insurance company will cover such purchase? How many hurricanes between now and a few short years will it take to convince insurance companies of the futilities of Florida and it's future?

Without insurance/financial backing, increasing king tides, violent hurricanes, and Republican scams, Florida is on a track to insolvency. (meanwhile, the earth's precious ice is on unstoppable melting tick tock tick tock)
