There is no “bottom“… Anyone can do whatever they want, and potentially get away with it because there is an argument, no matter how false, how trivial, how untrue, which when proffered, is an excuse. I am awaiting the first of these mass murderers Who guns down people at a club or a concert to get off because of his beliefs. It’s going to happen, there is no question. In the old days, the jury would deliberate for five minutes and come back with a guilty verdict, now, everyone thinks they’re in 12 Angry Men and this can exonerate anyone for the most specious of reasons.

“ I killed all those people because God told me to”. So therefore, we need to let this person practice his faith. (I generally use the masculine pronouns because the vast number of these miscreants are male, I certainly don’t mean to offend…)
