18. I hear you but when I watched the interview, felt like this guy is messed up to the point where

'how his mind operates' is probably not a reliable indicator of much of anything larger than himself and his damage.

Not only is he obviously meth-addled, I'd bet he's also significantly abused steroids in the past as well.

Seems like the kinda dude who grasped hold of this religious way of thinking as a survival mechanism/last resort kind of deal.

As someone who's spent time 'in the rooms', I know this type of person.

They end up swinging WAY to the side of religion because they come to think it's the only thing that'll keep them alive.

And in some cases, it probably is.
