9. I will admit that I have such deep respect for the outgoing leadership that it is difficult for me

to see them stepping back. My instinct would have me pleading with them to stay.

But they have shown a deeper wisdom. Acting selflessly to give new leaders their place in the sun, while remaining in place to give the new team their full support and good council.

Makes me respect Pelosi, Hoyer, and Clyburn all the more.

They are truly wise.
