I am so sorry you are going through this.

One thought.

Do you have friends or family in Virginia or some other state that has expanded Medicaid on a state level who would let you establish residency there?

I left Texas for that reason, among many others, and have never regretted it. Although I wasn't ill when I relocated, I needed care shortly afterwards when I was also unemployed. Medicaid handled it. I've never been so grateful.
