My husband had to shoot a deer to put it out of its misery after it had jumped in front of his truck. My husband is always looking out for deer, so I know it was an unavoidable accident. He could have called the authorities, but that would have meant prolonged suffering for the deer. I don't know how he was able to do it. I know it tore him up inside, but he did what he had to do.

I've had a ton of nurses/aides out due to RSV and covid - no combo cases yet

They would have cancelled school in WI with that windchill (I lived near Green Bay)
