I'm not living inside your head, or watching TV with you. I don't know all of the cutesy names living in your head for all of the folks in the news. (At least) three times in the last 24 hours an OP had been incomprehensible to me because the OP used their own pet names for someone . . . in two of them I'm still not sure who (or what) was being referred to. Just as frequently someone comments on SOME BIG THING without including a clue about what THAT BIG THING was.
This is a discussion board. There's much more likely to be a discussion if you give us a clue about what you would like to discuss.

You'd think after 53 years of Internet & 29 years of the Web, adults would have figured this out. nt

Sure. Names and contexts is pretty basic stuff. It's about being social-savvy, not computer-savvy

I DO consider myself to be fairly computer savvy, but that doesn't mean I can read minds! 😆

I'm guessing a fair amount of this is not real people posting how they really think.

I read a book about the TV show Seinfeld. It tells how a lot of the story lines got written.

I can't tell you how many actual news articles never identify the state or even give hints.

That's an argument for posting in the state forums - or adding the state in the subject line
