According to some Roman Catholic right wing crazies, he was the last valid pope. He was pressured to retire by a gay cabal in the College of Cardinals.

Other Roman Catholic right wing crazies say that's nonsense. Not the gay cabal bit. They're OK with that, but the last valid Pope was Mussolini's old pal Pius XII.
