I Love Katie Porter & Will Support Her Senate Run, But Perhaps She Should Have Waited To Announce [View all]

I understand why she did it now. To start raising money, and get out in front of the pack that might develop if Feinstein does say she's not going to run again.

But she could have waited for Feinstein to do that. And also the timing looks bad with all the flooding and storms passing through lately and in the coming days.

Like I said, she probably wanted to get a jump on the other candidates who will enter the playing field if/when Feinstein makes a statement. This was likely planned long ago, irrespective of weather complications.
