He's more than earned my respect. Even when he fucked up that one time with the Trump military anti-protest photo op, Miley totally owned it in a very public way. He issued a gold standard sincere apology, none of that "for anyone who was offended..." crap. And yes, he subsequently stood very firm for democracy.
