it's the type of thing the royal family gets their panties in a wad about in their desire to look perfect. If they would give that up and look human they might get more sympathy. Diana certainly did. She "attacked" them after the divorce and nobody thought so ill of her.
They should have quit being above it all and spoken decisively in defense of Meghan when she was subjected to criticism for the same behaviors Catherine was given praise for. They'd have looked a lot better.
