(132,440 posts)65. My Trader Joe's has cage free eggs 2.65/dozen. Natural grocers 2.99 (but
always out by the time I get there). Colorado Springs.
Thank goodness my friend's hens are laying again.

I also heard that people were using eggs more now for protein because meat was so expensive,

Me too! I use them for garlicky spinach soup, dal, & Armenian lentil soup w/dried apricots, mostly.

I need to get back into limas. I love them, but we tend to have edamame in the freezer instead.
