Interesting how it's always Democrats who are told to 'wait', because 'there's an election coming up' and then 'it's only a week, a month, a year etc.
Well this time it looks like Democrats have learned. A huge coalition of Unions and Liberal Groups, and SS advocates has formed, including people like Bernie Sanders and they KNOW there is no time to waste.
I guess it comes down to who supports Democratic policies and who doesn't. We won, we have the momentum to shut down Alan Simpson and Erskine Bowles, both enemies of SS before the Lobbyists get there before us.
And aside from this coalition, the American people will back this President when he takes a firm stand against tying SS to the Deficit since he knows there is no connection between the two.
I am confident he will join that coalition and let Republicans know that SS is STILL, despite Paul Ryan's opinion, the 'third rail' of politics. He's got over 80% of the people on his side. I believe he will stand with them and will not allow Republicans to go against the wishes of the American people.
