6. Deploying OC in that situation was idiotic.

If you're hands-on with someone and you have multiple officers there, you just wear them out. One officer holds down their legs while two more officers force their wrists together and get them cuffed up. At most, use a Taser to drive-stun.

There was also the fact that, at the initial stop, one of the officers was holding Mr. Nichols' left wrist, so he couldn't put his arms behind his back when told to do so. None of the officers there took charge and directed things, what cops refer to as "one voice."

It was a big, stupid, rage-filled mess, and Tyre Nichols is dead as a result.
