(5,390 posts)I read your link and frankly it had nothing to do with this law or our domestic policies. It looks like you are comparing our home grown nut cases to Israel's terror groups. This still does not make this a good law. No one should have the power to arrest and detain without due process.
I did confront your arguments by giving you a link to the ACLU, which explained why I think this is a bad law.
You responded with this:

You did go on to say that you still thought is was necessary. I disagree and find this law abhorrent. If caring about the Bill of Rights and our Miranda Rights is petty, childish and unproductive, than guilty as charged.
Your use of a straw man scare tactic is amusing. We already have laws in place and agencies who track home grown threats. They do it the old fashion way with surveillance and EVIDENCE. We do not arrest and detain without due process.
