Why did GOP waste so much time on Benghazi thse past weeks?

...and the manufactured hysteria surrounding it--were Republican campaign tools--designed to destroy Obama during the campaign.

They could not get Obama on any scandals. His foreign policy credibility was solid when he ordered the bin Laden hit, when he ended Iraq and kept us safe.

There were 50 Americans killed overseas in our embassies and consulates-- during the Bush Administration. The world, especially the Middle East, is a violent and risky place for American diplomats and government workers. Democrats didn't pull a big PR stunt and blame Reps for the countless deaths of Americans on foreign soil. The Republicans started a witch hunt to hurt Obama's re-election.

They are vindictive, dirty players. I doubt we will hear much about Benghazi, as its purpose clearly failed and their faux outrage is manufactured garbage.

Benghazi should have been handled as the dozens of tragic murderers of Americans on foreign soil-- were handled in the past. By understanding that these tragedies happen and then moving on. Deaths like these are the fault or no one.
