Would you consider evidence to the contrary, should it surface? I'm at least open to the possibility that they weren't justified, should evidence to that effect be presented.

It's very similar to the way you've seemingly accepted the claims presented in this incident as factual when there's nearly nothing to go on. I'm skeptical, but should an investigation conclude that the claims are true, so be it. If the claims are true, the deputies clearly committed a crime and should be charged.

With all due respect, it just seems to me like you're jumping to conclusions without any solid facts in hand. I'm curious as to why you're taking that approach.
