5. The DSCC starts drafting folks from Obama's team now

Some of those ready to move up but can't because of the Axlerod's, the Pluffe's and the the Cutter's. They share how they've accomplished the things they have. The DSCC uses the Obama model of keeping campaign headquarters open all the time in key areas. And the DSCC starts working on selling their 2014 candidates now. In 2014, we canvas and call and work just as hard as we did this year to get people registered and excited to vote. We stress to latino's and women and african-american's that voting in 2014 will help them in the long run... to help them keep their autonomy and to help have their voices heard and counted. We point out what President Obama was able to do in his 1st two years of his first term, when he had the Congress & the Senate.

We need to convince people that mid-term elections are just as important, if not more so, than Presidential elections.
