They were already planning to primary her, and there was a good chance she'd lose. Why doesn't Time come out and say it: the Repukes didn't want her either. Sinema is worthless to both parties. I doubt there are enough independent voters in Arizona to blindly vote for her in spite of her many faults. She's done, end of story.
