1.) Indicting the orange asshole will cause lots of violence; threats to anyone involved in the process
2.) For many people, simply taking down the family business would be punishment enough
3.) There are still LOTS of wealthy and powerful people who will continue protection
4.) The GOP has rigged the courts, not to mention the hung juries that would result
5.) He could release lots of intel if convicted
At most he will lose some cases against his company, and maybe some state crimes, but none will result in jail time.
