Eleanor Roosevelt was no "looker." Neither was Janet Reno. What they did command was R-E-S-P-E-C-T by reason of other well-reasoned attributes, especially this one--they commanded respect! OTOH, these women had strong opinions that took no quarter on the foolishness of others nor in what they believed, nor what actions they may have taken in response.

Respect is THE character attribute that ALL Republicans in public life seem to have left behind. I don't know a single "good" character attribute for which to commend TFG and his MAGAT cultists. Many do have an attractive image or talent that Americans prize and award with their money, mainly in the fields of entertainment and sports, but are still seemingly soul-less creatures. Because they are cowards, they are also shallow, petty, divisive, inflexible, ignorant, selfish prevaricators, but mostly DISRESPECTFUL of life and law. Those should NEVER have been or be in any leadership position, elected, appointed, or promoted to high regard.
