4. The GOP tried to do this at their convention this year...

Republicans had African Americans, Hispanics and women speak at their convention--in a vacuous effort to convince people that they actually had respect for people who weren't white or male.

It didn't work because it was window dressing without any substance whatsoever.

In fact, I was insulted as a woman, that Republicans would think that their anti-women policies and ideas would actually melt away in my mind--simply because they stacked the stage with women.

I can't speak for Hispanics or African Americans, but I imagine they felt the same way.

Will Republicans ever learn? It's not enough to prop up demographics on a stage.

It's your policies. PERIOD.

You want Hispanic votes--then actually have policies that benefit Hispanics. Lobbying for electrified fences and demonizing immigrants is not suddenly ok--just because you have Marco Rubio give a speech.

Republicans just don't get it. I've never seen so much collective stupid in my life. They seem to ignore reality.
