He may not be a teabagger but he is hard core conservative, very anti-union, and he abused his position at US Attorney for political purposes in 2006 when he issued a flood of subpoenas to Menendez only days before the election (over rental of an apartment building owned by Menendez) to try to dirty him up that later resulted in no charges whatsoever or even any further investigation. He is nasty and we don't want him.

He did what he did with Obama only because he is up for re-election next year.
