Even the NRA says in their NRA Guide to the Basics of Personal Protection In The Home manual, Chapter 3:
"First and foremost, the storage method chosen must provide an adequate level of protection to prevent unauthorized persons from accessing the firearms."
the paragraph goes on to say:
"What is adequate in a home inhabited by a single person or a couple with no children might be wholly inadequate in a home in which numerous adults or children reside."
