3. I've heard the arguments against it, but it is time to run, not walk, away from Twittter

If Twitter is so important to our ability to communicate and conduct social discourse, one or more alternatives can and will arise to fill that void if Twitter goes down in flames. Human nature abhors a vacuum. We don't have to continue to prop up the mega ego of a mega billionaire who uses his platform daily to condone and further hate and those who undermine our democracy.
