In reply to the discussion: People, I need help with cheapest long term tv entertainment. [View all]LizBeth
(11,180 posts)15. So, I googled Roku and reading.
Looking at the screen of one of those tvs it has it all on there. Hulu, Netflix ect... But for clarity, you are saying I need to purchase the Netflix and others. If I buy the Roku tv, I would then pay my monthly Netflix (son still uses that account in Ecuador so dont want to get rid of it) but I will not be getting prime and Hulu, right?

You should logon to your Amazon & Netflix accounts, now, while you're on the computer.

Correct, all the apps are on the screen, but unless you sign up for them, they won't work.

A Roku device. Plug it into your tv, thousands of channels, many of them free.
