9. We can only hope they don't get away with it this time like they did after WWII

In the Berlin Russian Zone it was said that there wasn't a girl or woman between 8 and 80 who hadn't been raped. I assume this was true anywhere in Germany or other areas the Russians had occupied.

The world, and in particular, the other Allies were so preoccupied with the atrocities the Nazis had committed they all turned a blind eye to what was happening to German civilians. I'm sure there were American, French, and British soldiers who committed similar crimes, but not on this scale and not with the blessing of their governments.
