In my area I see a lot of new graduates, kids finishing in the top 10 of their class, deciding they don't want to go to college. Granted, the job market is very good right now and these young adults can find decent paying jobs (decent paying for an 18 year old not a 40 year old) but there seems to be this real lack of curiosity among many of them.

Of course, you can always go to college at any point. I think they are missing out on just getting a different perspective and getting smarter.
