1. George Carlin was seldom WRONG!

I had the pleasure of being in the 3rd row at Presentation Hall at the Mayo Civic Center in 1989. I had been a Carlin fan since the early 1970's when he did the Hippy Dippy weather man on the Johnny Carson show as well as reading headlines from newspapers. I had all his albums and cassettes.

During his show, he asked the audience if there were members of the Police Department and Lawyers. He asked this question..."Selling is LEGAL! Fucking is LEGAL! Why is selling fucking NOT LEGAL?" There was quiet for a few seconds, then riotous laughter. That was the effect George Carlin had on people. He made you think!

Oh the jokes he would have today were he still alive. I miss his words of wisdom.
