13. I agree, jim. True Christians don't do this.

Unfortunately, I've met too few true Christians over the course of of my lifetime. Lovely folks. Very loving.

Not at all like the nuns who hit me and verbally abused me, and my classmates in the so called "Christian" school elementary school I was forced to attend. Not at all like the vicious Evangelical christo-fascists, whose primary core religious belief is hate for women and LGBT+.

Pseudo-christians have left a long, bloody trail behind them. Many of my ancestors fought against christian imperialists who tried to force their own special brand of "christianity", resulting in genocide.

I think the author is talking about all the shooter's cultural religious backgrounds, which is never mentioned unless they are born into, or adhere to other religions besides Christian or pseudo-christian religions, which are, unquestionably, the dominant religions in our culture. The fascists insist that the US is a "christian nation".

So you'll never see or hear something like, "the shooter was a white christian cis gender heterosexual male", in the news.
