I've been thinking about this issue all day. How could you NOT be curious on something that is so important to you? If you get a diagnosis from a doctor don't you come home and do some research yourself? Don't you want to see the truth and keep an open mind on sources of information?

Years back my son was having some issues at school, so what did i do? I researched laws on the A.D.A, and Section 504 and began my fight there. I felt it my responsibility to get this information so I can make better choices along his struggle in the school system.
I never wanted to be out of the loop and because of my research he's doing well in his life and in his second years of college.

I really don't understand it either, it's foreign to me to even think like they do.
