Emotion over thinking, no research to find out facts, close ears and eyes and become outraged at imagined things. Conspiracy theory nation.

Suddenly "Sunlight is the best disinfectant," holding feet to the fire, exposure, etc. disappeared. Discussing anything bad is "promoting it."
