21. My father was a WWII vet and Repub for

as long as I can remember. He was also basically racist towards black people. Then some weird things started to happen. He made friends with a black neighborhood boy who he paid to help around the yard with him. He became insulted by how the R's treated vets and the Post Office which he retired from. He then started voting for Obama and Bernie! Pissed my mother off with that. lol.
I seriously never thought I would see that day. Evah!
But during that time he started addressing his PTSD as well. So there was a cloud lifting.
