They retain the breaks for up to $8,700, $8,701 to $35,350, $35,351 to $85650, $85651 to $178,650. $250,000 isn't on a bracket boundary, so then it gets odd, but the main point is they get to keep every tax break that any of us have, they only lose the ones just for them.
