141. I, too, worry for this president & his beautiful family.

When the teabaggers started showing up at events with weapons strapped to their thighs, I thought, "Oh this isn't going to end well." And I was right. For some it hasn't. For four years their hate's been simmering on the back burner. With this win, I worry it will break into a full boil.

My husband, who is several years older than I, thinks that the 60s were more contentious. Maybe they were. I was a just a kid. But it seems pretty bad, now. Hate radio & shows like Jerry Springer, where people were encouraged to behave badly to get attention, this is what I see so much of in our society today, a complete lack of regard for others.

More than anything, I felt this election was a referendum on the repubs bad behavior, on their racism, their misogynism, their hatred for gays. I feel the real moral majority spoke out in this election.
