(32,345 posts)2. Merrick Garland employed the pyramid strategy
he didn't investigate Trump or his inner circle for over a year, and no one can prove otherwise. No one flipped under his pyramid strategy.
Don't knock Jack Smith, he is doing what Garland should have done. We maybe could have had a federal criminal trial before the 2024 election had Garland started investigating sooner.
The one that really pizzes me off is Garland saying that he will not be partisan, Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, we have one political party that is complicit in the insurrection, now is the time to be partisan, Democrats aren't trying to overthrow our democracy.
