1. I don't live in New York, but Washington DC is also expensive.

My property tax went up 8.2 percent trash removal went up $22.00 per quarter, insurance, and water bill, up and up. I live in my house, I don’t rent it. my escrow between taxes and insurance went up just under $100 a month.

The money has to come from somewhere.
