(4,847 posts)i've always thought, "what in the hell are the people thinking putting those in office that are rewarded for an official's assassination?" it seems to me, that rubbing out a leader, especially a leader who is concerned about all of the people or about peace; the one who benefits is the opposition, usually with the same ideology as the assassin. now, why is that?
if you elected someone from the victim's party or someone with the same goals, then i'm thinking you wouldn't have as many leaders rubbed out; however, when you elect those who opposed the leader-what the fek?
i remember the UU shooting, dr. tillman, colorado progressive radio talk show host and others done in by RW poisonous blather-heads. and if anything happens to the president, it seems that the first targets for protest are the ones who have been given license by their right wing corporate greed-heads to spew the dividing, ignorant, violence inciting bullshite.
