Time can have a different meaning for different people.

When I was working in Santiago, Chile, a Chilean worker asked me if he could borrow my aluminum pipe wrench for 5 minutes. 2 days later I spied the worker and asked about my pipe wrench which he then returned. So in Chile 5 minutes relates to 2 days.
