(11,134 posts)58. Anyone would break after four years of sheer hate, disrespect, threats and
lack of support from those who he reached across the aisle to meet. Carrying the pain in public without even a frown had to have been difficult. But to see that the majority of the American people still supported him and believed in his ability to bring about change, pierced that part of his inner being that succumbed to it all.
