lots of women working there....and women managers, at least. I'll have to ask them how they like it. I know they work very hard.

I think the only store that is Union around here is Kroger...and I hate that place. I buy very little there. I am constantly being overcharged and they never have the Express Lanes open. I email HQ all the time. I've talked to the store manager who could give a shit. I only buy what is on sale, so it is only a few items....I just can't afford their prices. But I do NOT shop at Walmart, if that redeems me in your eyes a bit.

I really like the international foods of Aldi's. And I buy food not even made in the US...it's made in Italy, Germany or France. Especially the crusts of the pizzas....they grow an entirely different wheat than we do. And it doesn't upset my stomach like pizzas made here.

Their chocolates are from Europe. The US can't make chocolate. I try not to buy much in the way of processed foods and cook from scratch as much as possible. It's cheaper and better for you.

Now I'll feel bad about shopping at Aldi's. Maybe I can plant a seed for them to unionize!
