Twitter? Controlled by Elon Musk and given over to right wing lunatics, while calling NPR "Government Controlled Media"?
Facebook? Controlled by Zuckerberg, which used analytics to allow microtargeting of voters?
Google? While not as obvious as the other two, still wanting to squeeze the maximum profit without taxation?
I agree that Democrats should develop a strategy of having staff to try to get a message out, but part of the problem is that Conservatives own a sizable chunk of the media, including Social Media, which has been aligning more with the status quo than the messaging that Democrats espouse.
